Yet another form of powerful linking is the dedicated link list. this ideally would be a seperate page, linked from your homepage by a keyphrase such as, and in keeping with the christmas toys theme:

"Christmas Toys Links and Resources"

At the start of this page you would have an intro paragraph or two which establishes the relevancy of the page, such as:
